Who am I?
Hi, I’m Jeena, the eye behind Pressley Studios.
I’ve been drawn to photography since I was young, but it wasn’t until high school that I truly fell in love with capturing emotion, the real, unscripted kind that happens when no one’s watching.
My photography journey began on the sidelines, quite literally. In high school, I tore my ACL and suddenly found myself off the field and stuck on the bench. I couldn’t sit still. I felt like I was missing everything—the energy, the connection, the little moments that made playing so special. So I picked up a camera. It helped me feel close to my teammates and gave me a new way to stay part of the game. I also joined the yearbook team and started documenting everything from sports to school events, using my free time to learn and grow as a visual storyteller.
Then, in college, I tore my ACL again. Same injury, same recovery, same heartbreak, but this time, I knew exactly where to turn. I went back to my camera, and through that lens, I rediscovered the joy of the game. I started capturing the things I loved most about soccer, the focused expressions, the grit, the in-between moments that made it all meaningful.
As an observer by nature, I’ve always been fascinated by the little moments most people overlook. A glance. A laugh. A stillness. A spark. My photography is rooted in storytelling, aiming to reflect the way I see the world: quietly, honestly, and always searching for the meaning between the moments.
The name P.S. is a nod to the phrase postscript, the part added after a letter is finished. That’s where my inspiration lives, in the unexpected and emotional moments that come after the pose, when people are no longer performing but simply being. I believe that’s where the real story begins.
Though sports is where I started, I’m drawn to the magic in every kind of moment—the quiet joy between couples, the nervous excitement of a graduate, the soft connections between families, the raw emotion of weddings and elopements. I value versatility and seek to tell honest stories no matter the setting.
Whether it's a sideline, a mountaintop, or a backyard, I’m here to capture the in-betweens, the postscripts, where life feels most real.
